At Hamptons Fine Art Fair, Kang Contemporary is revitalizing one of its past acclaimed exhibition concepts. What becomes immanent is the continued emphasis on crossing cultural and national boundaries and finding communal spaces of resonance. Kang Contemporary offers viewing experiences that are created to speak to the viewer’s experiences and extend their perspective of the world. 

The gaze into the distance begins a journey from one position to somewhere else. Considering distances as a space between places and not as a passive void allows a rediscovery of kinship between humans and their environment. The distances we anticipate and move through are saturated with stories and emotion that will potentially pass as times and people change but nonetheless shape the experience within places. With this exhibition project, Kang Contemporary showcases intrusions and intersections, stressing the inter-dependencies between Art, Space, Cultures, and People. From dreams of distant landscapes over explorations of the spaces between the lines to yearning for a place to call home.
